Family trip to Las Vegas

This year we weren't able to go to CA because of several reasons. The main reason was time off. Stephen wasn't really able to take time off work because he hasn't been at his job for his year mark so we decided that we can get away for a weekend and meet my parents and my brother in Las Vegas.
It was a very nice and relaxing trip. We left on a Friday early morning and we arrived in Las Vegas by lunch time were we waiting for my parents and brother. Ian was so excited to see grandma and grandpa. It was nice to see them.
We really didn't do much just because we didn't have a lot of time so we hung out in the pool. walked the strip and enjoyed our wonderful time together.

T-Ball Season

SORRY it's been for ever since I've updated our blog but life has been busy. crazy and lazy. Every time I have some time to myself I do absolutely NOTHING. In which I always have something to do but spending time by myself and catching up on my DVR is more my style, especially right before I go to work so I'll do my best and update our blog to recent updates so I'll start from T-BAll.
Ian has been wanting to play T-Ball and the rule here in Logan is that you have to be 5 so this summer we put Ian in T-Ball and he did great. Stephen and I missed some of his games because at that time I was still finishing my Externship and Stephen had been working a lot of nights but the days that we went to his games Ian did GREAT. His coach said he was one of the best kids that he's played with that Ian was a good player and he really was.
Ian was able to hit the ball out the the field to where he was able to get to 2nd or 3rd base and he was learning how to catch the ball toward the end of his season. So we know that baseball will be one of the many sports that Ian will experience as he grows up.
T-Ball was a success this year and we can't wait to see what comes up though out the years.

Pre-Kinder Graduation

The month of May and June was such a busy month for us. I was trying to finish my Externship and Stephen and Ian were having to deal with just being them two so yea it was a hard month, but we're happy to say that we made it through and Ian graduated from Little Wonders and is getting ready for Kinder at Hillcrest in August. Sorry there isn't many pics of his graduation but my camera died as soon as Ian was walked into the Auditorium to get his diploma so I'm kinda upset about that but at least I was able to take these so we hope you all enjoy :)

Graduation

Life in the Currier house has been insane. I recently graduated from Stevens Henager with my Associates Degree in Medical Science. This degree will give me the opportunity to apply for the RN program through Stevens- Henager. I also graduated with a 3.65 that put me on the Dean's List. WOW I did that? Very proud of myself just because of the busy schedule that I have. I'm a Full time mom, wife, and right now a double employee. I'm currently finishing the rest of my Externship hours at Northern Utah Gastroenterology. I do that 4 days a week and I work 5 days a week so right now I have a very full plate. Our family life right now consists of Hi and Byes most of the week and on the weekends they are pretty much half family days just because by the end of the week I'm not up for much but to just be LAZY.
Stephen has been AWESOME through-out all of this and for that I'm very thankful and I'm very lucky to have a great husband like that. Ian has also been great. He's getting so big he'll be graduating from Pre-Kinder at the end of the month and start Kindergarden in August. That's also great news for us because we won't have to pay Little Wonders anymore.
The next great news that we have is that we'll be taking vacation in July. We'll be going to Las Vegas for 4 days to go see my parents. we're sad that we won't be able to go to CA this year but we're thankful that we'll at least be able to take a mini vacation for a couple days so we're looking forward to that.

Elk Ride

Ian and I were invited to go with one of my school friends to Hardware Ranch for an Elk Ride. We had never been there so it was pretty interesting when we got there. It was really cold but I was glad that it wasn't snowing. We had a sled ride which was fun and they took us around the field on where the Elk's where located. There was about 200 of them and it was amazing to see that many together. The ride lasted about 15-20 minutes and they just basically told us what the life of the Elk was like. That was interesting too. Ian was so excited about the ride and just seeing all the Elk. We had a blast that day.

After the ride we went up to go see Mr and Mrs Claus and boy that was the highlight to the whole trip for Ian. Ian really wanted to let Santa know what he wanted for Christmas which was a Sparkle Scooter, and Santa asked him if he had been good this year and of course Ian says Yes why wouldn't he say yes.

Waiting for his turn to see Santa. We waited about
15-20 minutes. There was so many people.

These horse weighted about 2,000lbs each. They
were beautiful and Ian insisted we get a pic with them.
