Elk Ride

Ian and I were invited to go with one of my school friends to Hardware Ranch for an Elk Ride. We had never been there so it was pretty interesting when we got there. It was really cold but I was glad that it wasn't snowing. We had a sled ride which was fun and they took us around the field on where the Elk's where located. There was about 200 of them and it was amazing to see that many together. The ride lasted about 15-20 minutes and they just basically told us what the life of the Elk was like. That was interesting too. Ian was so excited about the ride and just seeing all the Elk. We had a blast that day.

After the ride we went up to go see Mr and Mrs Claus and boy that was the highlight to the whole trip for Ian. Ian really wanted to let Santa know what he wanted for Christmas which was a Sparkle Scooter, and Santa asked him if he had been good this year and of course Ian says Yes why wouldn't he say yes.

Waiting for his turn to see Santa. We waited about
15-20 minutes. There was so many people.

These horse weighted about 2,000lbs each. They
were beautiful and Ian insisted we get a pic with them.

Christmas Day

We had a very nice Christmas. I was off of school for two weeks and I was so due for some time off, I've had 2 classes for the last 3 months which is Monday-Thursday and on top of that I work 5 days a week so Having time off was great. I also took a week off work so that I was able to stay home with Ian while he was on Winter Break well it turned out that I took the wrong week off but it all worked out.

We spend Christmas Eve at my In-Laws Friends house and we do that every year since Stephen and I hardly have any family here in Utah. When we go there we have a white elephant gift and a gift exchange and it turned out to be really fun. This year was a little more fun for Ian because Ian's little buddy Dylan moved here from Alaska in the fall so they had a blast together.

Christmas Day we spent it at my In-Laws house. They cooked Christmas Dinner for all of us and it was delicious. Ian opened his presents there from his grandparents and from his Aunt Amy, Cousin Austin and Gary that live in CA. Ian got gift cards to Target from his Uncle Jeremy and Fam, and Uncle Jared and Aunt Melissa, so we'll be planning a trip to Ogden to go to Target.

They both got monster trucks from Grandma
Candy and Grandpa Richard. ( By the way Ian
already ruined his, no surprise there.)

Santa Claus was good to Ian this year. Ian got what he wanted from Santa which was a Sparkle Scooter, sad to say he hasn't really had the chance to go outside and ride it since the weather has been so cold and snowy. We tell him that it just means that he'll enjoy it in the spring and summer time.
