SAYING GOODBYE..................

So things haven't been so easy for us. You'd think we'd be so happy because today is Dad's birthday. Well things aren't so great for us. Last night we had to let go of someone that we LOVE SO MUCH. Buddy our dog we had to let go and let's just say we are having the hardest time with this. I thought it wouldn't be so hard, but I was wrong. Our family is a mess, especially our son. How do you tell your son that we can't keep his Best Friend. Ian is so so sad and it just breaks my heart. I can't comfort him in any way because all he wants is his Buddy. I don't know if we made the right decision but right now it just hurts so bad that we haven't been able to accept it. Yea I think we made the right decision to give Buddy a better home but when it comes to breaking your child's heart theres no way to fix that, not even a fish....... I think that we should've thought more clearly way before we got Buddy because we had someone to think about and that is Ian but we didn't and now we're here trying to explain to our son that Buddy won't be coming back and that he has a better home with a back yard and that he'll have a better life and Ian still doesn't get it and even myself who is 28 years old doesn't get it. We want him back and we can't have hin back so all I want to say is PLEASE make sure that when you get a pet for your child that you make sure your making the right decision for you and your family because the hardest thing is seeing your son so sad because he misses his dog and all he wants is his dog back that we can't get back because of all kinds of circumstances that a 4 year old will never understand because all he wants is his BUDDY!!!!!!!!!!
